At Gros Morne Coffee Roasters, we love coffee and we love Western Newfoundland! We roast our coffee in small batches with traditional drum roasters (Toper 1kg and 5kg) in our roastery near the south entrance to Gros Morne National Park. When we're not roasting coffee, we are enjoying all the things that this area has to offer like, skiing, hiking, swimming, boating, paddling and great seafood.
At Gros Morne Coffee Roasters, we source only fairly traded, organic beans because that's the right thing to do. We're always on the lookout for great beans. This allows us to bring you the most delicious and unique coffee from around the world. We roast single varieties which allow you to enjoy the unique flavours from different regions.
We roast medium to medium-dark to bring out the unique qualities of each bean. We hate burnt coffee and we think you should too! Once you discover the breadth of flavours in a well roasted coffee, you'll see what we mean.
Our roasted beans are delivered as whole beans since grinding just before brewing ensures that you get maximum freshness and flavor
We roast in small batches on our two Toper roasters.
We started out with a small 1kg cafemino ("uno") and have since added a 5kg roaster ("cinco") to increase our capacity.
Both roasters are traditional drum roasters built in Turkey and run on propane gas.

Here's a list of the blends that we've produced
This blend combines two of our favourite Central and South American beans to create a wonderful blend. The sweetness and brightness of Columbia with the nutty, chocolate flavours from Guatemala come together to create a beautifully balanced cup of coffee.
Our darkest roast, blending Central and South American beans, creates rich, sweet flavours with low acidity. A terrific balanced coffee for those who are drawn to the darker end of the spectrum.
This blend of Central and South American beans creates a wonderful espresso. We've roasted this blend to bring out a balance of brightness and body with chocolate notes. The addition of Brazilian beans delivers a terrific crema, giving this espresso a silky smooth creama
